By far, the largest proponent of the magnet ban is Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. Chicago Tribune reports, “Savemagnets.com is lobbying Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, who has spoken out about the products’ potential dangers, to discuss alternatives to a ban. Gillibrand has not responded to hundreds of letters he and other magnet supporters have sent her office. She also did not respond to Tribune inquiries.”
To this day, we have still not received any return communication from her. Even after many calls, forwarding hundreds of letters from the public, and creating a new website: YoGillibrand.com for ease of getting in touch.
